This page explains what information we collect and why. It is written in plain English.

The sizes you type

The calculators run on your own phone or computer. We don't save the sizes you type. If you press "Share", your sizes go into the page address. Then the person you send it to sees the same answer. Do not put personal details in a calculator.

Visit counts

We use two tools to count visits.

Google Analytics shows us which pages help people. It tells us things like the page, the country and the type of device. It does not tell us who you are. It uses cookies. We have turned off its ad features.

• UK, Ireland, the EU and nearby countries: we ask first. Google Analytics does not run until you say yes. Saying no is as easy as saying yes.
• Everywhere else: it is on. You can turn it off.
• Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends this signal, Google Analytics does not run.

You can change your choice at any time on our Cookies page.

Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views and how fast pages load. It uses no cookies and saves nothing on your device. It does not follow you from site to site. It does not run for visitors in the EU.

Ads

We don't show ads yet. Later we may show ads from Google to pay for the site. We will update this page before they start. In the UK, Ireland and the EU, we will ask before any ad cookies are used.

Emails

If you email us, we use your email only to reply. We do not sell it or add it to a mailing list.
