Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Here is what we use.

Your choice

Turn on JavaScript to see and change your choice. Without JavaScript, Google Analytics does not run.

What we save

• Your choice: saved in your browser as bc-analytics, so we don't ask every time. It stays until you clear your browser data.
• Visit counts (Google Analytics): the cookies _ga and _ga_3T3ZH1BMP8. They help us see which pages are useful. Each one lasts up to 2 years (Google's list of its cookies).

We also count page views with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and saves nothing in your browser (Cloudflare). It does not run for visitors in the EU.

The calculators themselves do not need cookies. We don't show ads yet, so there are no ad cookies.

Who we ask first

In the UK, Ireland, the EU and nearby countries, we ask before Google Analytics starts. We tell where you are from your device's time zone. We don't look up your location.

Everywhere else, Google Analytics is on. You can turn it off above.

If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics does not run.

You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
